20 Backlist Books to Read in 2020!

20 Backlist Books

20 Backlist Books to Read in 2020! One of my goals this year is to read more backlist books (books that were not published in the current year). I get easily distracted by all the new books but there’s some amazing books that were published last year or a few years ago that I still want to read. Last year I read some amazing backlist books so I know there’s so many out there that I want to read.

I took some time and went through all the books on my bookshelves and picked out some backlist books to focus on. Today I’m sharing the list of backlist books I want to prioritize this year.

20 Backlist Books I want to prioritize this year

  • Hum if you don’t know the words
  • Writers & Lovers
  • Dear Justyce
  • There There
  • Homegoing
  • Us Against You
  • The Star-Crossed Sisters of Tuscany
  • When I was Puerto Rican
  • Sanctuary
  • The Midnight Library
  • Felix Ever After
  • The Death of Vivek Oji
  • Evvie Drake Starts Over
  • The Knockout Queen
  • White Ivy
  • Memorial
  • The Only Plane in the sky
  • All the light we cannot see
  • The last story of Mina Lee
  • The Invisible life of Addie LaRue

I am posting these here for accountability and will update you throughout the year with how I do with this goal. I also put together a bookshop.org list with all these books in case you want to get them and read along with me. You can find the list here.  If you’ve read any of these I’d love to know which ones you’ve loved and which ones I should start with. Let me know in the comments!
